In exercise of powers conferred by section 12 and section 13 read with clause (h) of section 35 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010 (19 of 2010), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Green Tribunal (Recruitment, Salaries and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Rules, 2011, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the National Green Tribunal (Recruitment, Salaries and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Amendment Rules, 2019.

2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

3. In the National Green Tribunal (Recruitment, Salaries and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Rules, 2011, in the Schedule, against serial number 9 relating to Private Secretary in column 11 under the heading "Promotion" for the word "six years" the words "five years", shall be substituted.
