Recruitment Rules For Group "D" Posts

6 Age limit for direct recruits  18 to 25 years (relaxable for government servant upto 35 years in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Central Government)
7 Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruits Middle standard pass
8 Whether age and educational qualifications prescribed for direct recruits will apply in the case of promotions Not-Applicable
9 Period of Probation, if any, Two years.
10 Method of recruitment whether by direct recruitment or by deputation / transfer and percentage of the vacancies to be filled by various methods. (i) 25% by transfer(ii) 75% by direct recruitment
11 In case of recruitment by promotion/deputation/transfer grades from which promotion / deputation/transfer to be made By transfer :Safaiwala, Farash and Chowkidar who have rendered at lease regular service of 5 years in their respective grades and possess elementary literacy and ability to read either Hindi or English or regional language
12 If a DPC exists what is its composition  The DPC shall be constituted as below :-1) Administrative Officer, ITSC - Chairperson2) Desk Officer in the Department of Revenue - Member3) Any other Group 'B' Gazetted Officer - Member
13 Circumstances in which UPSC is to be consulted in making recruitments. Not-Applicable

10 10 Method of recruitment whether by direct recruitment or by deputation / transfer and percentage of the vacancies to be filled by various methods. By promotion failing which transfer on deputation or transfer.
11 In case of recruitment by promotion/deputation/transfer grades from which promotion / deputation/transfer to be made By Promotion : By promotion from amongst Daftaries or Jamadars who have rendered atleast 3 years regular service in that capacity and have proficiency in operating and maintaining duplicating machines.
By Transfer / Transfer on deputation :
Daftaries and Jamadars in the Central Govt. offices having put in three years regular service in the respective Grades and having proficiency in operating duplicating machines.
(The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years).
12 If a DPC exists what is its composition The DPC shall be constituted as below :-
1) Administrative Officer, ITSC - Chairman
2) Desk Officer in the Department.of Revenue - Member
3) Any other Group 'B'Officer - Member
