(ii) Minimum speed of 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting or 25 w.p.m in Hindi Typewriting provided that a physically handicapped person who is otherwise qualified to hold a clerical post but
doesn't possess the said qualification in typewriting may be appointed, subject to the condition that a medical board or the Civil Surgeon certified that the said handicapped person is not in a fit condition to be able to type. |

(i) 90% by direct recruitment
(ii) 10% vacancies shall be filled from amongst the Group 'D' who are matriculates or possess equivalent qualifications and have rendered 5 years regular service in Group 'D' on the basis of
departmental competitive Examination. The maximum age limit for eligibility being 45 years (50 years for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes ). The maximum number of persons to be recruited by this method shall be limited to 10% of the vacancies of LDC's
occurring in a year and unfilled vacancies shall not be carried over. |
