( C) CRICKET UPDATES

Chartered Accountants Association, Ahmedabad has defeated Baroda Branch of WIRC of ICAI by 5 wickets in a 25 over match played on 6th February 2005 at St. Xeviers Loyola School Ground. Baroda Branch was bowled out for 128 runs in 24 overs. The team of our Association made 130 runs in 24.1 overs. Our team players Shri Mehul S. Shah and Uday I. Shah were declared Man of the Match and best bowler respectively. Shri Jayesh Verma of Baroda Branch was declared best batsman.

(2) PUBLICATION OF C.A. ASSOCIATION FOR SALE :

1. Service Tax Practice and Procedures” incorporating provisions upto 14th January 2005 (Rs.80/- for members of C.A. Association, Ahmedabad and Rs.160/- for others. Concessional rate is for only one copy per member.

 

( C) CRICKET UPDATES

(i) On 9th January a match was played between the teams of Chartered Accountants Association and Income Tax Bar Association. The match ended in a “tie”. The match proved to be full of joy and entertainment with a nail biting finish. Both the team scored 181 runs in 25 overs.

(D) REMINDER:


(1) The members who have not collected the new directory of the members of the Association are requested to collect the same free of cost but after payment of fees for the year 2004-2005.


(2) The members are requested to intimate changes in their email ID at the Association´s Office which will help the office bearers to remind you about the programmes through mail.

(3) Like last year, this year also it is decided to publish the booklet on central budget 2005-2006 in Gujarati as well as in English Members are requested to place their orders for copies in Gujarati and in English. The price per copy is fixed at Rs. 8/-.

The minimum order should be for 25 copies. The order form and circular follows.
